Pavilion Name: Chaoyang Park, Beijing

Chaoyang Park is a comprehensive, multi-functional large cultural recreation and entertainment park mainly based on landscaping.

It is the largest urban park within the Fourth Ring Road of Beijing, formerly known as Shui Zi Zi Park, which was built in 1984 and renamed Chaoyang Park in 1992.

The north and the south are about 2.8 kilometers long, with a width of about 1.5 kilometers. The total planning area is 288.7 hectares, of which the water area is 68.2 hectares, and the green land occupation rate is 87%.

The construction of the park was highly valued by the CPC Central Committee and municipal governments at all levels. The central leading comrades visited Chaoyang Park in 1992, 1996 and 2004 to participate in voluntary tree planting activities in the whole country. In December 1999, general secretary Jiang Zemin wrote the name of the park for herself in the park.

In 1997, Chaoyang Park was listed as the 50th anniversary key project of Beijing national day.

In September 15, 2004, the northern park of Chaoyang Park was built to realize the opening of the whole garden to the society. The construction of the northern park was based on the principle of "combining calamity and disaster", and became the second refuge place in Beijing after the yuan dadcheng wall ruins park.

The beach volleyball arena of the twenty-ninth Olympic Games was settled in Chaoyang Park in 2008.

Over the past 20 years, Chaoyang Park has attracted more than 20 scenic spots such as central governor Zhi Shulin, general Lin, world forest, international friendship forest, vast forest, water tour area, South Gate Scenic Spot, brave world amusement park, European style charm, green song, life source, Art Square, waterfront Island, ecological water stream and so on.
