Foshan Textile: Enterprises Take The Initiative To Attack When The Market Is Bleak

Recently, Foshan Council for the Promotion of International Trade led the organization to unite with Foshan Textile clothing The industry association and Hong Kong Trade and Development Council organized more than 100 Foshan textile and clothing enterprises to visit Hong Kong and participate in the Foshan special clothing show and exchange cocktail party.


"This is the first time that Foshan textile enterprises have come to Hong Kong to investigate the market in a large group, and it is an initiative against the current weak market," said Xie Weixiong, president of the Foshan Council for the Promotion of International Trade.


It is understood that Hong Kong Fashion Show This year, there are more than 1250 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, attracting nearly 20000 professional buyers. Nine denim enterprises in Foshan Jun'an participated in the exhibition in groups and held exclusive clothing shows on the spot. On the other hand, more than 100 Foshan textile enterprises that arrived at the exhibition yesterday sent enterprises to dock with more than 30 buyers from emerging markets such as the Middle East and Russia organized by the Hong Kong Council for the Promotion of International Trade.


  The market is bleak, and enterprises take the initiative to attack


"We seldom participated in the Hong Kong Fashion Show before, because we were busy with orders." The head of Foshan Jinlida Jeans Fabric Factory told reporters, "Last month, the company only received two orders. The operating rate in the second quarter was only half of that in the past."


"When I came to Hong Kong this time, I mainly hoped to find customers." The person in charge of Foshan Jinsheng Garment Co., Ltd. said that before, I was mainly looking for fashion trends. "This time, I came to find customers." Wu Haoliang, secretary general of Foshan Textile and Garment Industry Association, said frankly that the second quarter was the off-season of the textile and garment industry. Under the severe economic situation this year, "The off-season is even lighter, so enterprises are actively exploring the market."


"The situation in the second half of the year is expected to get a little warmer", Wu Haoliang said with a smile, "according to the current enthusiasm of the enterprise, the arrival of peak season will drive some markets."


  Jun'an Jeans Appear in Fashion Show

"It is really effective to open up the market by holding a cocktail party with customers at the same time as the show." Li Ruishan, the marketing director of Leqi Textile Group, another enterprise participating in the show, said, "This will also encourage more Foshan textile and clothing enterprises to increase their independent design efforts to a certain extent and improve their competitiveness."


"We hope to attract more Buddhist enterprises to come out and find customers." Xie Weixiong said that in the second half of the year, he will continue to use the platform of cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council to help Buddhist enterprises explore the market.
