A few days ago, in the small commodities market in Yiwu, Zhejiang, it was learned that the market of masks, which had been off season, became popular because of the Russian forest fire.

According to the market management personnel, the mask sales are over 6 million in recent days, most of which are sold to Moscow.

In mid July, continuous high temperatures caused fires in many forests in Voronezh, Russia, with an area exceeding 190 thousand hectares.

Continuous fires caused smoke and dust, resulting in the pollution of the ecological environment in many parts of Russia and the rapid decline of air quality.

Moscow and Moscow have been shrouded in thick smoke for nearly two weeks.

People have to wear masks to travel, and masks have become hot necessities.

To meet the demand, many Russian businessmen rushed to Yiwu, Zhejiang to order masks.

"Summer was originally a sales season for masks. Who knows a forest?

Conflagration

Let it quickly heat up. "

On the afternoon of 15 August, Wu Xuzhen, a merchant of Yiwu International Trade City, said that she had received many orders for masks from Russian customers in the past few days, and the general requirements were 100, 5000 for each.

"The order for one or two days now can exceed 5, and the total sales volume for one month in June."

Wu Xuzhen said, buyers are mostly disposable masks, each about 6 to 7 cents.

In order to catch up with the market, all customers are required to send them by air.

"Traditional pportation takes a month, it may not catch up with the hot tide, and air pportation only needs 4 or 5 days, so all air pportation is required."

Market statistics also show the current hot degree of sales of masks in Yiwu.

According to market management statistics, in recent days, sales of daily masks in Yiwu exceeded 6 million, exceeding 5 million of last year's armour.

But market management analysts believe that this sales boom will soon disappear.

"The hot wave brought by the fire will not last for a long time. Once it is put out, the sales of mask will quickly drop."
